In this workshop, you’ll be taught the fundamentals of Block Printmaking with an easy, soft rubber block, and receive the training to comfortably use carving tools to carve a custom stamp. You will then learn how to pull a vibrant set of prints on paper.
Our theme will be abstract flowers. There will be reference designs available, come prepared with a 4” x 6” drawing, or design your own composition with the help of the instructor.

Make a home for a little plant in this two-part workshop! In this beginner friendly class, you will learn how to make and decorate your own adorable planter. In the first session, our experienced instructors will teach you how to use the slab building technique to make the shape you want. The second session is scheduled two weeks later and so you can glaze the planter you created using a variety of bright colors. Within a couple weeks of the second session, you can pick up your planter! It will be an adorable spot for a tiny succulent, a great addition to your desk, or even the perfect gift for a friend. No experience necessary, beginners welcome! Students will be provided with everything they need: clay, tools, glazes, and expert instruction.

Learn the ancient and meditative art of wheel-throwing to create a bowl or cup. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the entire process from start to finish, then allow you to work at your own pace. No experience necessary, beginners welcome! Students will be provided with everything they need: clay, tools, glazes, and expert instruction. Since the piece needs to be fired before it can be glazed, you will either need to return for a second session to glaze your piece or you can finish in one session if you opt for the studio to apply a clear glaze for you. The $35 workshop fee includes all material costs (including returning for an second session to glaze). Within a few weeks of class, you will be enjoying your new handmade, food-safe artwork! Make your own pair of dazzling stud earrings from polymer clay in this grant-funded $25 workshop! Artists will have a variety of colors of polymer clay to choose from to create their jewelry. Instructions will be given in how to create "faux terrazzo" and marbled patterns. Artists will be taught how to make jewelry findings while their clay bakes, then finish by attaching the findings. Artists will leave with a finished set of stud earrings ready for wearing!
Purchase tickets below for $35. New and experienced artists are invited to explore the acrylic medium during this 2-hour workshop using Picasso as our guide. Beginning with pre-stenciled canvases, workshop participants will be instructed step-by-step in the completion of their own version of Picasso’s “Le Rêve” (“The Dream”). During the class, participants will learn about color theory, principles of design, and the fundamentals of acrylic painting, such as: brush selection and technique; edge control and blending; color mixing; texturing and layering; line use; and more. All materials are provided, and participants will leave the workshop with a masterpiece of their very own.
