Learn the ancient and meditative art of wheel-throwing to create a bowl or cup. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the entire process from start to finish, then allow you to work at your own pace. No experience necessary, beginners welcome! Students will be provided with everything they need: clay, tools, glazes, and expert instruction. Since the piece needs to be fired before it can be glazed, you will either need to return for a second session to glaze your piece or you can finish in one session if you opt for the studio to apply a clear glaze for you. The $35 workshop fee includes all material costs (including returning for an second session to glaze). Within a few weeks of class, you will be enjoying your new handmade, food-safe artwork! Call the studio directly to reserve your second session for free during a pre-scheduled workshop or whenever the studio has space. This adult class is open to youth aged 10-15 with a responsible adult present.
