Create a striking piece of felted art of your furry friend in this pet portrait workshop. Participants will learn basic techniques of flat needle felting, including how to use tools, placing and blending wool, as well as mounting it in an embroidery hoop so that artists may complete a beautifully framed 6x6 pet portrait felted painting.

Participants will email a head-shot photo of their pet beforehand so the image can be traced onto their canvas, or they can come with a printed image of their pet to work from. There will be animal images available for those that didn’t email or bring their own.
